Allocation rationale.

  • 75% to property because the physical asset is the moat. Without the building, nothing else has a home.
  • 6.5% to shaping is the highest-ROI line item. $65K creates a vertical-integrated supply chain plus a Year 3 export business that competitors cannot easily replicate.
  • 8.5% to apparel funds an already-designed, ready-to-produce 735-unit run. Tech pack locked, vendor RFQs in flight. Margin-positive from unit one.
  • 7.5% working capital covers salaries, marketing, utilities and legal through the first 12 months post-launch.
  • 2.5% reserve is honest contingency. Construction overruns are real. We refuse to disguise reserve as "marketing".

The first credible domestic surfboard shaping and repair operation in Bangladesh.

Already running. Fahad Hosen — Bangladesh National Surf Champion — is selling high-quality custom fins today and repairing surfboards for the local community free of charge. The capital allocated here scales an operation that is already proven, already trusted, already serving.

The opportunity is generational. Bangladesh has zero domestic surfboard production. Every board ridden here is imported, expensive, and replaced infrequently because of cost. By bringing shaping in-house we control supply, cost, and quality — and we create a regional category we can own.

Apparel manufacturing is outsourced to vetted partners — not built in-house. This is the right call for our stage: lower fixed cost, higher unit quality, faster time-to-market. Our edge is the design and the brand, not the sewing line.
